Inok Jeong seeks to document the endlessly repeated daily life in her paintings. The layers of delicate, rough, uncoordinated, and sharp lines in Jeong’s works represent our life journey that are made up of moments—dots. The strong segmentations of the lines and colors are influenced by the environment that she resides in, Palm Springs, a sophisticated city where urban and ancient nature coexist. Using mixed materials such as pencil, charcoal, acrylic and graphites, Jeong expresses the Palm Springs ‘unrealistically harmonized’ beauty and nature-created arts.

Nakyung Lee’s paintings are inspired by the nature that exists in the boundless space — the change of colors that harmonizes with the change of the light. Her paintings are composed of monotypes mixing oil paints and etching inks which create a deep, profound background, and imaginary houses painted on the top that reveal the artist’s imaginary world.

Yang Mi Lee explores ordinary elements of her surroundings and captures the greatest depths of her personal connection to her subjects. She believes that art’s purpose is ultimately a guide for others to help them find healing in their spirits. In her paintings, she shares with the world what gives her healing and invites the audience to pause and reflect in a calming state of mind what that means to their own lives.

Sean Yang explores the intersection of social and internal space using multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary methods to investigate social and internal space. His art practice revolves around sculptural ceramics to mixed media works. He exploits the tension between reproduced and handcrafted objects through his sculptural ceramics and mixed media works, seeking to examine social control, collective unconsciousness, individual identity, and cultural transformation. His recent installation employs his own interpretation of the Four Noble Truths: suffering, self-righteousness, sensory perceptions, and environmental sustainability.
