While I'm Away: Artist Talk

Please join us for an artist talk with English-born, American-based artist, Rocky Morton, known for his work as a painter and filmmaker. His pieces are part of the permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and the Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum in London. Rocky will be in conversation with Shana Nys Dambrot, an art critic, curator, and author based in DTLA. Formerly LA Weekly Arts Editor, now the co-founder of 13ThingsLA, she is the recipient of the Rabkin Prize, the Mozaik Orize, and the LA Press Club Critic of the Year award (twice). A unique sound experience will accompany the talk.
